Sarah Strumeier, LCSW, Clinical Coordinator & Psychotherapist
Therapy is a journey that promotes growth, insight, new perspectives, confidence, and healing. I approach therapy with a deep sense of compassion and empathy. In my work, I have had the honor of helping many individuals find their way through grief and loss, difficult life transitions, low self-esteem, and various mental health issues. I am passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space where we will develop a plan that is unique to your strengths and needs, as well as discovering what is holding you back from growing and thriving.
Since each client and situation is unique, I find myself working from an integrative therapy lens, drawing techniques from humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches. My specialties include grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, chronic stress, depression, anxiety, chronic or terminal health conditions, and caregiver support. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, problem solving therapy, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal therapy. In our work, I will help you better understand yourself and find your desired
goals in life.
I know reaching out to a therapist can often feel overwhelming and anxiety producing, but you do not need to suffer alone. You have come to the right place. I welcome people of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, and abilities with full acceptance and I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you. If you believe that we would work well together, please contact our office to make an appointment. I look forward to helping and supporting you on your journey.
I am passionate about health and fitness. In my free time, I love to challenge myself with a good workout class, such as kickboxing, spinning, power yoga, step aerobics, and strength training. My second passion is Broadway theatre. My all-time favorite Broadway performances are Dear Evan Hansen, Rent, Fun Home, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Wicked. In my additional spare time, I love spending time and seeing new places with my partner, dog, family, and friends.
