Jennifer Grossman, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor & Lead Psychotherapist
Making the choice to start therapy is your first step to beginning your journey toward change. I will provide an empathetic, warm, safe and non-judgmental environment where we will collaborate together to meet your goals. I specialize in working with individuals presenting with depression and/or anxiety as well as individuals experiencing low self- esteem. I also have experience working with individuals presenting with stress stemming from relationship and family conflict as well as education and career transitions.
My education from Adelphi University has shaped my eclectic therapy approach where I have learned to tailor treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior to meet an individual’s specific needs. During our time together, I will actively listen to your concerns, focus on your strengths and teach you skills that you can implement to improve your quality of life.
Outside of seeing clients, I practice self care by spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts. “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity”- Albert Einstein
