As a therapist, my mission is to give you a holding and brave space where you can share about your problems. Therapy is not only when you are in crisis but also when you need help in navigating life. My goal is to empower and highlight your strengths even when you cannot see them yourself.
I have been providing therapeutic services in the past two years to a variety of people of different race, gender, sexuality and socioeconomic status. As humans we want to be seen and heard; and that is exactly what I do. I specialize in working with adult dealing with depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. My goal is to help you find the thoughts or behaviors that are hindering your journey of growth and healing.
When I am not providing therapeutic services, I practice self-care by going to cycling classes, spending time with my loved ones or watching re-runs of The Office. My motto is “ Life is too short to not laugh;” therefore, I find any chance that I can to laugh because it is impossible to feel sad, worried, anxious or mad when you’re laughing.
