Brynna Pawlows, LMSW
I want to learn your concerns on your terms. Whether you have a history of trauma, or are dealing with stressors at work, we can work collaboratively to give you the tools to reach your goals. Modern life is stressful and often difficult, and I am passionate about helping individuals discover the changes and tools needed to alleviate adverse feelings and circumstances. Psychotherapy can help you detangle those issues and prompt you to discover new ways to deal with life’s more difficult days. My experience is with clients dealing with relational issues, anxiety, depression, past trauma, and sexual and gender identity issues.
I work with individuals from a collaborative, flexible and eclectic approach; tailoring therapy to your unique story and concerns in a space that cultivates safety and healing. This may look like concrete skills, talking through adverse experiences, identifying patterns, and discovering the interconnectivity of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My background is in evidence based practices, with an emphasis on past trauma through a strengths-based lens. I typically utilize CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches.
I genuinely believe in the inherent ability of individuals to grow and live more fulfilling lives. For me, fulfillment is deeply rooted in my work, travel, and finding time to practice ukulele, brush up on piano, and eventually get back to my first instrument: viola
