My commitment to you will be to support your process of exploration and transformation with unwavering acceptance and belief. Going to therapy is about embarking on a journey of radical self-care. My work is guided by a sacred sense of respect for your individual rights and needs. I treat each person who walks into my office with dignity and I welcome expressions of uniqueness and personhood. I service individuals, couples, and families and offer psychotherapy for anyone experiencing emotional and mental distress in their lives. I have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, body image struggles and relationship issues.
Therapy is a collaborative process and together we will explore issues and identify goals. Through it one can achieve growth and change that did not seem previously possible. Together we can create a space that feels comfortable and is conducive to sharing. Working jointly, we can move to a place of empowerment and personal satisfaction. My orientation towards psychotherapy revolves around processing thoughts and feelings to better adjust to stressors in the present and prepare for challenges in the future.
I relate to my clients with warmth, attentiveness, and openness. During our time together I will listen to you and work to understand and normalize your experiences. I will be with you each step of the way, sharing in this experience and supporting you. Being a therapist who enjoys the outdoors and exploring nature, I bring a sense of excitement about the range of experiences that foster personal growth whether in therapy or out in the natural world.
