Alex Golob, LMSW
Together we can create a breakthrough, as possibilities are endless for the empowered individual. I am here to help you work through challenging times and feelings, as well as celebrate the good times and achievements. My passion lies in helping you gain awareness in order to live your most authentic life. I work with adults of all ages dealing with past trauma, relationship issues, anxiety and depression.
We will look at your thoughts, core beliefs, and how you view the world. As we decipher and explore what is holding you back, we will identify ways to improve your life. I provide a space where you have the opportunity to be vulnerable; to disclose your inner thoughts and feelings without judgement.
I have training in psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal psychotherapy, Problem Solving therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practice. In our work we will aim to accomplish a path to a fulfilling life.
Connecting with people and making others feel comfortable has always come very naturally to me. This is an attribute that can translate to other areas of my life I am passionate about, whether it be traveling or joining others to write music.
